CFD Training Services
Not sure whether an open-source Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) process would be a good fit? Or how a new process might map on to your current needs? Wondering how different might it be to what you currently have? What might be easier, what might be much more difficult (or even impossible)? Don’t waste time trying to second-guess. Spatial Chaos will first meet you, online or in-person, to dig into your current situation and uncover what your new CFD process might look like. Our team at Spatial Chaos will give you practical, independent advice based on our experience of building engineering-focussed, in-house CFD resources.

OpenFOAM
At Spatial Chaos, we have built our framework for Computational Fluid Dynamics around the open-source code, OpenFOAM. This toolbox is license-free, and has been developed by a dedicated community of academics and engineers. As such, OpenFOAM stands as one of the most powerful and versatile CFD toolboxes available today.
OpenFOAM is now fully compatible on Windows operating systems, in addition to Linux. Therefore, you can directly incorporate OpenFOAM into your organisations existing hardware with no disruptions. With no license costs or restrictions, you will be free to scale up your OpenFOAM simulations to fully utilise your available resources.
CFD on the Cloud
Do you want to break free from the limitations of on-site hardware? Are your simulations often delayed by insufficient computational resources? Are the high upfront costs of servers and workstations making you apprehensive about introducing CFD into your company?
Cloud computing offers a highly flexible and cost-effective approach to accessing the resources that you need, exactly when you need them. At Spatial Chaos, we have extensive experience in running all stages of a full CFD workflow through cloud computing services, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
Our experts can help you to develop the skills that will enable you to fully adopt your own cloud computing workflow.
