The most important stage of any CFD modelling process is to validate the results, without this, false conclusions can be made and depending on the application, it can lead to dangerous consequences. Spatial Chaos has experience not only in designing the experimental apparatus for validation but also in the manufacture of the test rigs. Historically, the team has been engaged in manufacturing precision, bespoke tooling for the automotive and aerospace industries using both traditional machine tools as well as fused deposition modeling (FDM) based additive manufacturing techniques.

The company has an in-house manufacturing facility which includes an array of CNC (computer numerical control) and manual machining facilities (turning, milling and grinding) as well as some fabrication equipment. Most of our competitors do not provide the engineering and manufacturing services which allow the results of the modelling to be validated, leaving the responsibility of the most important stage to the customer. This uniqueness in the market allows Spatial Chaos to provide the whole modelling process from start (planning) to finish (validation), giving you confidence in the results that are reported.
